Formada en 2009, tras varios cambios en los integrantes, finalmente en 2011 comienzan sus actividades con los miembros actuales.
En 2013 cambian el nombre de la banda llamada「STRENGTH」por su nombre actual「AWAKING REBELLUST」
El sonido metal como núcleo y la incorporación de 2 vocalistas, ofrecen una gran variedad dentro de su estilo musical.
